Low Radiation Digital X-Rays-

Digital x-rays make it possible to produce image quality that rivals conventional film radiography, and with a much lower radiation dose than with conventional X-ray film.

The Sigma Sensor produces 90 percent LESS radiation than the film x-rays that have been used in dental offices in the past. Using sensors other that film radiography is also very environmentally friendly with no hazardous waste such as the film fixer, developer and
LEAD. After an exposure, the image appears immediately
on a PC screen for diagnosis. So the patient can see,
understand and help design their own treatment plan.

The Sigma sensors come in two sizes and have a clinically correct shape and rounded corners for a comfortable, well-tolerated positioning in the patient’s mouth. These sensors combined with a panoramic 360 degree x-ray of a patients' head and jaw give the diagnostic information to help maintain and treat healthy, beautiful smiles.
